I am a scrap metal artist using a variety of metals to make sculptures for home and garden. I mainly work with salvaged steel but also incorporate other metals such as brass and copper for texture and colour.

I have various sources for metal: car and bike repair shops, car boots, charity shops and donations from friends and family. I also collect discarded metal when I’m walking my dog on the streets of Bristol and have become a bit of a magpie even spotting small pieces such as washers and screws on the pavement.

My sculptures are either animals or flowers and the shape of a piece will usually dictate what it will be. If not, by cutting through sections the shape can change entirely.
