Susie Ramsay is an artist based in Bristol, specialising in architectural landscapes and city scenes.

Working in pen, watercolour, and acrylic, she focuses on streets, rooftops, and buildings, with particular attention to light, colour, and structure. Susie works both on location and from her studio, using direct observation to capture the atmosphere of the places she draws and paints. A large part of her work is based on Bristol’s Old City, including paintings of Christmas Steps, St John’s Gate, St Nicholas Market, and Broad Street.

Her work explores familiar urban spaces and the details that give them character. Susie has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions locally and nationally, including 'Postcards from the Road: Sketches from Bristol to Brindisi', a series of postcard sketches documenting a 3,500-kilometre journey; 'Streets, Lanes and Skylines', featuring changing viewpoints of the city and harbour area; and 'Rooftops and Archways', a collection capturing the city’s viewpoints and hidden corners, with each painting offering a fresh perspective on Bristol.

A selection of Susie’s work will be available during the arts trail as greeting cards and limited-edition giclée prints. All prints are mounted, signed, and presented gallery-ready by fine art printers Giclée & Co.
