I re-discovered painting and drawing in 2020 after a considerable break and now enjoy spending time each week painting whatever appeals to me including still-life, seascapes, portraits and landscapes. My preferred medium is acrylic paint onto stretched canvas as it is quick to apply, quick to dry and very forgiving. Throughout the course of completing a painting I constantly refine tone and colour to capture a sense of time and place.
