Ceramics, both functional and decorative, using a variety of clays and firing techniques. I enjoy experimenting with different firing techniques including wood firing, gas firing in a brick kiln (built with my daughter, Belle Proffitt, who is also exhibiting at the West Bristol Arts Trail) and Raku firing as well as using my electric kiln for both stoneware and earthenware.
