My paintings and prints are based on landscapes such as Cornwall, Scotland and the French Pyrenees. I like playing around with the colours and textures  I’ve seen on walks and swims in these places, and enjoy the process of combining various elements of landscape- rock water sand, grasses, weather, light etc., layering and mixing different media. I like having lots of work of different sizes  on the go  and build up colour and texture, re-visiting each piece several times. I never quite know how things will turn out and  never quite know when things are finished either! Hope you enjoy.
