Greeting Cards, Illustrations, Paintings, Printmaking
Laura is a traditional illustrator and printmaker specialising in hand pulled reduction lino prints, and also works in watercolour, acrylic and oils.
Born just outside of Durham but has now lived in Bristol for almost 25 years, and has become well known for her quirky images, particularly of animals. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, she has produced a plethora of illustrations and prints from this, such as the "Sleepy Sloth" and "Sleepy Cat" on the bridge. These have proven very popular over the years, bringing a hint of humour and a dash of quirkiness to much of her work.
You'll find Laura's work in a few independent shops around Bristol and on many of Bristol's art trails, selling originals, prints and cards.
