Laura Robertson Artist
Improvu Theatre, 50 St Paul’s Road, Clifton, Bristol,
Illustrations, Paintings, Printmaking
Laura is an illustrator and print maker specialising in linocut, but equally turns her hand to other mediums such as watercolour, acrylic and oils.
Taking inspiration from the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, she has produced a plethora of illustrations and prints of animals sleeping on the bridge, such as the "Sleepy Cat", which has proven the most popular over the years.
In all her work Laura brings a hint of humour and a dash of quirkiness. You'll find Laura's work in a few independent shops around Bristol, such as "Blaze", an artist's co-operative, which she jointly runs. Her cards and prints can be found online in her Etsy shop. She also participates in some of the ever popular art trails in Bristol throughout the year.
