Laura Fox is a contemporary printmaker specializing in hand-carved, reduction lino prints.  Working from her North Somerset studio, Laura creates vibrant, layered, limited edition prints, strongly influenced by British landscapes, pattern and the details of nature.  Each piece is meticulously planned, carved, inked and printed by hand in multiple layers.  Building up the depth and richness of colour through the traditional relief printing process.

"I love the moment when the final print is revealed after many hours and layers of printing, to create something colourful and full of life. Peeling back the paper from the lino block never fails to be exciting as there are always some surprises along the way with printmaking. Through my art I hope to capture small moments of calm and bring a little of the natural world into peoples homes. I hope you enjoy this labour of love as much as I enjoy creating it."
