Helen Cooke paints from a variety of subjects, from the human form in her chalk pastel and charcoal work, to landscapes in acrylics and watercolours from her favourite places.  These include a mix of images, showing the natural world or buildings, reflecting her 30 year career in architecture.

Alongside this, Helen carries out personal and commissioned illustrations recording signficant life events, or a take on something in the world, and uses this as a part diary of her life.

Her work is created from life or in her home studio.
