Originally from Yorkshire I moved to Bristol in 1985 and having completed a Foundation Art Course in the city I went on to study Graphic Design at Salisbury Collage Of Art. I’ve worked for design agencies in the Bristol area and became Creative Director in a large Bristol agency in 1997. Since 2007 I’ve run my own agency, Frank Brands, specialising mainly in packaging design for many National and International household names.

As for my paintings I work in watercolours and have developed a strong recognisable style with the main focus of my work being urban and rural landscapes from the Bristol area with a few from travels over the years thrown in.
