Monica Cuellar is a Bristol-based painter originally from Spain.

Her artworks explore the human connection to nature and wildlife, and how memory and emotion shape that relationship.

Through vibrant tones and a myriad of details, she creates immersive paintings that invite close attention and evoke joy.

Working both in oil and acrylic, plus occasionally incorporating gold leaf on her panels, she builds luminous compositions that balance intensity with quiet reverence.

Monica’s work is a reflection of the power of nature and the outdoors in shaping our thoughts ,emotions and memories.
