Sophie has been making sculpture since before the film Jaws came out. After years of attempting to find a unique style as an artist she has given up and allows herself to meander from detailed narrative pieces, such as her delicate terracotta horses with riders, to rough elemental forms such as the useless black and white urns which don't hold anything. The works are ceramic, resin and bronze and are made in St Philipps in Bristol where Sophie has a studio.
